Impaired drivers busted in two-vehicle crash

A two-vehicle crash in Bellevue led to the arrest of two persons who were suspected to be impaired while driving, KING5.com reported on Thursday, February 27.

According to reports the incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. when a vehicle driving 70 mph driven by a 29-year-old man crashed into another vehicle driven by a 57-year-old man. The drivers and another person were brought to a local hospital.

Bellevue Police Lt. Marcia Harnden believed both drivers, whose names were withheld, were intoxicated when the crash occurred. The two drivers were charged with DUI and vehicular assault suspicion upon booking in King County Jail.
