On Thursday, January 23, pop star Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami Beach for drunk driving and avoiding arrest, according to a CNN article.
Justin was reportedly street racing in a residential area in Miami Beach, going a speed of 55-60 mph on a road with a 30 mph speed limit when he was stopped by police. The 19-year-old was booked in a Miami jail after he was found to be intoxicated. He was later discharged after he paid a bail of $2,500.
The Canadian musician admitted to authorities in a statement that he drank alcohol, smoked marijuana, and took prescription drugs before the arrest.
