Kitsap deputy prosecutor arrested in Poulsbo DUI case

Posted by Unknown | Mar 13, 2014 | 0 Comments

Kitsap County Deputy Prosecutor Barbara O. Dennis was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a rear-end collision that occurred in Poulsbo on October 9.

Dennis was taken by the Washington State Patrol to Kitsap County Jail where she was later released after posting bail.

The Kitsap Sun reported that Dennis had a similar drunken driving charge in 2007. It was reduced to negligent driving after she complied with conditions ordered by the court.

The case has already been referred to Pierce County to avoid conflict of interest.
