Posted by Unknown | Mar 13, 2014 | 0 Comments

The son of former Washington, D.C. mayor and incumbent councilman Marion Barry was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and marijuana possession in Virginia on Friday night, August 16. According to investigators, police apprehended 33-year-old Marion Christopher Barry after he was seen precariously driving a PT cruiser somewhere in the vicinity of Hampton.

A routine search led to the discovery of what was reported to be an undetermined amount of regular marijuana and synthetic marijuana.

The young Barry was granted “own recognizance” release wherein no bail money needs to be paid by promising, in writing, to appear in court on Nov. 13 to face charges of DUI and illegal possession of marijuana.
