Drunk driver accused of killing baby boy

Posted by Unknown | Mar 12, 2014 | 0 Comments

A 26 year-old man has been accused of vehicular homicide after he got drunk and crashed into a disabled vehicle that had a 3-month old baby inside. The child died at the scene and his parents were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and have since been released. The man's bail has been set at $200,000 while charges are pending.

The child's parents were returning from a camping trip and had to pull over in Clark County to replace a flat tire on I-5. The drunk driver had been seen speeding and recklessly changing lanes before he crashed into a median and then hit the family's car. According to court documents, he has a previous drunk driving conviction from 2005.

Our deepest sympathies are with the family and friends of the young victim  who died in this tragic accident.
