Underage Seattle man arrested for DUI after fiery auto accident

Posted by Unknown | Mar 12, 2014 | 0 Comments

A 20-year-old man from Seattle was recently arrested for a DUI after he survived a fiery single-vehicle crash near Phantom Lake.

The man was driving a 2000 BMW on Phantom Way on Monday night when he lost control of the vehicle and it rolled over and hit a tree. Witnesses to the accident were able to help the man out of the car shortly before it burst into flames. Police officers who arrived at the scene of the accident suspected the man of driving drunk.

The man was taken to Overlake Hospital Medical Center with a broken nose and head injury. He was also administered a blood-alcohol test, although the results of that test were not released.
