Seattle man faces sentencing for intoxicated vehicular assault on officer

A 44-year-old man from Seattle recently faced sentencing from a judge for injuring an officer while he was driving drunk.

The accident occurred on December 13, 2009 in Sea-Tac. The 44-year-old man was driving a 1989 Toyota Corolla when he slammed into a police car that was parked on the side of the road. The 46-year-old police officer that was inside of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The 44-year-old man who hit the officer suffered serious injuries during the accident. He was charged with a DUI and intoxication assault and recently faced Judge J. Hill for sentencing.
