Washington State Patrol steps up DUI enforcement

Posted by Unknown | Mar 10, 2014 | 0 Comments

Washington State Patrol has teamed up with local police forces in order to emphasize an anti-drunk driving campaign.

The campaign is called the “Night of 1,000 Stars” because over 1,000 police officers will be out patrolling the area to keep an extra eye out for drunken drivers.

Officials in Snohomish County will be using a small airplane with a high-tech camera to watch over the highways. A motor home will be used for people to be dropped off after being pulled over for drunken driving. The Mobile Impaired Driving Unit will be used to process people. Troopers will also be looking for speeders and other traffic violators.

If you or a loved one has been wrongly charged of driving under the influence, contact the DUI lawyers Seattle of the Cowan Kirk and Gaston law firm by calling 866-822-1230 to discuss your case.
