Woman arrested in suspicion of DUI and vehicular assault after accident

A 23-year-old woman has been arrested in suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular assault after she was involved in an accident in Mount Vernon.

The 23-year-old woman was driving a Ford Van on memorial highway when her van collided with a motorcycle that was stopped for traffic.

The motorcycle was trapped under the front of the van and was dragged for quite a distance before its stopped. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries sustained in the crash.
