Law enforcement steps up patrol for Labor Day weekend

Posted by Unknown | Mar 10, 2014 | 0 Comments

The last two weeks of August through Labor Day weekend, police officials have beefed up the patrol on drunken driving.

There will be more law enforcement officials on streets to keep an eye out for impaired drivers in King County. This idea is part of a program called “Drive Hammered, Get Nailed” and it will be the largest DUI enforcement campaign that has ever been done in the county during the summer.

Throughout the state of Washington, 172 other agencies will be participating in the  campaign. According to officials, Labor Day weekend is one of the deadliest holidays in Washington.

If you or a loved one has been charged with a crime such as drunken driving, contact the Seattle DUI lawyers of the Cowan Kirk Gaston law firm by calling 1-866-822-1230 today to discuss your legal options.
