Illinois Woman Gets 24 Years in DUI

Posted by Unknown | Mar 05, 2014 | 0 Comments

On November 8, a 43 year old Chicago woman ran a stop sign while driving drunk. She caused a crash that killed a woman and her two children. In the ensuing trial, the woman pleaded guilty to DUI in May.

Recently, the woman's sentence was revealed to be 24 years in prison. She will not be eligible for parole until she has served 20 years of that sentence. Unfortunately, a simple DUI can sometimes snowball into a much more serious situation.

If you or someone you know is facing DUI charges, contact the Seattle DUI attorneys of Cowan, Kirk & Gaston at 866-822-1230.
