Burien City Manager Gets Deferred DUI Prosecution

Posted by Unknown | Mar 04, 2014 | 0 Comments

Burien City Manager Michael H Martin was arrested on April 19 and charged in May for drunk driving. He was involved in a crash in a residential area on the night of his arrest when he refused sobriety and breath tests.

On Tuesday, Martin was granted deferred prosecution for his DUI. He will undergo alcohol treatment for two years, and will be under court supervision and have an ignition interlock device put in his car for five years. If he fulfills these conditions, the charges will be dismissed.
