Seattle Man Arrested After Driving 135 mph on SR-520

Posted by Unknown | Mar 10, 2014 | 0 Comments

A Bellevue man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of reckless driving and DUI when he was picked up after driving his car at 135 mph on the eastbound lanes of SR-520, along the floating bridge linking Seattle with Medina.

The man's black BMW M6 was spotted racing across the bridge by a trooper, who was forced to give chase because of how fast the BMW was traveling. Even while chasing at speeds of 130 miles per hour, the BMW was pulling away as it weaved through traffic, with the trooper estimating that it hit 150 mph. The man was eventually pulled over on an exit ramp and now faces Washington DUI charges.
