On Monday night, a crash occurred when a Ford man lost control of his pickup truck. Around 8:30pm, went off Highway 231 in a curve near milepost 41. The truck rolled over several times before finally coming to rest upright.

The passenger in the vehicle was killed in the crash. Authorities believe that the driver was inebriated at the time and charges of DUI and vehicular manslaughter are pending against him.
