RENTON MUNICIPAL COURT

The Renton Municipal Court is located at Renton City Hall at 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA  98057.  The courtroom is located on the third floor.  Once you enter the building proceed to the elevators and go to the 3rd floor.  Security screening has a tendency to take some time at Renton, so we highly recommend that you arrive at least 15 minute prior to your scheduled court date.  

Renton Municipal Court has gone 100% paperless, the first in the County to do so.  While this practice is environmentally sound, the calendars have a tendency to start much later than their published times.  Those attending Renton Municipal Court should budget their time accordingly.  

The Presiding Judge at Renton Municipal Court is Judge Terry Jurado.  Judge Pro Tem Kara Murphy also presides over many criminal matters.  The lawyers at Cowan Kirk have handled dozens of cases in Renton Municipal in recent years and are familiar with the judges, probation officers and prosecuting attorneys.
