Posted by Unknown | Mar 13, 2014 | 0 Comments

Mark Mullen was arrested for a March 25 car accident that claimed the lives of Judy and Dennis Schulte. Judy and Dennis Schulte, both retired teachers, were crossing the street when they were hit by Mullen's truck. They died immediately at the scene. Two other members of the Schulte family sustained critical injuries from the accident.

Mullen pleaded guilty to charges of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault. On Friday, November 15, he was sentenced to 18 years and 4 months in prison.

Before his most recent conviction, Mullen was arrested five times for drunk driving. He had been ordered to install an ignition interlock device on his truck, but failed to do so.
