State troopers patrolling for drunk drivers this Fourth of July

Posted by Unknown | Mar 13, 2014 | 0 Comments

The Fourth of July holiday brings with it numerous drunk driving arrests in the state of Washington. This year, regardless of the fact that the Fourth of July holiday falls on a Wednesday, Washington State Troopers will be out patrolling for reckless and careless drivers on the roadways.

Law enforcement agencies in the state believe that this upcoming weekend will also be a large celebration weekend for the holiday. Police officials will crack down on drunk driving beginning on Wednesday and continuing throughout the weekend in order to prevent DUI-related accidents.

Drivers are urged to think twice before choosing to get behind the wheel of a vehicle after drinking this Fourth of July. It is important to have a designated driver on this holiday and to drink responsibly if consuming alcoholic beverages.
