Snowstorm to hit Seattle

Posted by Unknown | Mar 12, 2014 | 0 Comments

Seattle is expecting a snowstorm this Wednesday after city officials spent all of Tuesday preparing for the unusual weather.

The western Washington is more accustomed to rain, the National Weather Service reported that large amounts of snow were due to hit the Seattle area and western parts of the state Wednesday.  According to Brad Colman, Weather Service meteorologist, ”Wednesday is going to be a good day to stay at home…The road is going to be treacherous.”

This could be a dangerous situation as the city has a limited amount of snowplows, and Seattle drivers are less experienced with dealing with snow and ice.
