Seattle man suspected of DUI after hitting a pedestrian

On Wednesday night, a driver in his 20s suspected of driving under the influence hit a pedestrian crossing the street near N. 105th Street and Aurora Avenue North in North Seattle.

The pedestrian is a 22 year old woman who was left with a life threatening injury.  The suspect was driving a Ford Taurus, and was left unharmed.

Police are unclear whether the pedestrian was lawfully crossing the street and using a crosswalk.  The victim was rushed to Harborview Medical Center.
