Washington State Patrol annouces DUI arrests in first quarter of new year

Posted by Unknown | Mar 12, 2014 | 0 Comments

The Washington State Patrol recently announced that it has made 1,200 arrests on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol for the first quarter of the new year.

The Washington State Patrol has made over 36,000 traffic arrests in total. Most drivers were arrested for speeding or violating seat belt regulations. Over 2,000 drivers were arrested for driving recklessly by endangering persons or property with their driving.

Of the total traffic arrests made so far during 2011 in Washington, only a minute portion were arrests made for driving under the influence of alcohol.

If you or someone you love has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, please contact the Seattle DUI defense attorneys of the Cowan Kirk Gaston Law Firm at 866-822-1230.
