Posted by Unknown | Mar 10, 2014 | 0 Comments

According to a Seattle Police report, a woman was injured while riding her bicycle after she was hit by a car that was driven by a suspected drunk driver.

The accident occurred during the early hours of Saturday at the intersection of 10th East Ave and East Lynn. The roadway where the accident occurred was filled with construction signs and other equipment because the road was currently getting paved. The driver crossed the intersection and struck the bicyclist.

Police evaluated the driver and found signs of impairment and was transported to a medical center to get his blood drawn. The bicyclist was also transported to the hospital with head and facial injuries.
