Seattle Police Officer convicted in DUI case

A Seattle Police officer was convicted in  DUI case that he was arrested for last year.

When the officer was arrested he asked the state trooper that pulled him over “Are you sure you want to do this?' as he handed his law enforcement identification badge to the trooper.

The minimum sentence that the man could receive would be one day in jail or 15 days with a home monitoring system. He may also have to pay $866 and must get an alcohol evaluation and attend a victim-impact panel. The man is scheduled to be sentenced on October 1.
