Man Faces 5th DUI Conviction

Posted by Unknown | Mar 04, 2014 | 0 Comments

A Port Orchard man is facing a 5th DUI conviction after a motorcycle crash on Friday. The man was speeding at 74mph in a 35mph zone. When a state trooper tried to pull him over, the man sped through a residential area where the trooper would not pursue.

A few minutes after escaping the police, however, the man crashed his motorcycle and was taken to Tacoma General Hospital for treatment of a broken collar bone and several cuts and scrapes. He was then booked, and is facing a fifth DUI charge.
