A Report from the Bahamas

Posted by Unknown | Mar 04, 2014 | 0 Comments

William Kirk just returned from Paradise Island, Bahamas, where he spoke at the 2009 National College of DUI Defense Winter Session.  Bill spoke about 4th and 5th Amendment Suppression Issues on day one of the two day seminar.  Joining Bill as speakers were Donald Ramsell of Illinois, Lenny Stamm of Maryland, Victor Carmody of Mississippi, Gary Trichter of Texas, Bruce Kapsack of California, Andrew Mishlove of Wisconsin and Wayne Foote of Maine.  The seminar was held at the beautiful Atlantis Resort near Nassau.

Bill also serves as the State Delegate to the National College for the State of Washington.  NCDD Dean Victor Pellegrino presided over the event.  In addition to the two days of seminar, attendees were treated to many of the tropical activities such as diving, snorkeling, and sightseeing.  The Bahamian hospitality was outstanding.  The Summer Session of the National College will be held July 16-18 at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Mass.  For more information or to register, visit: http://www.ncdd.com/blog/index.cfm/Sessions-and-Seminars
